VIN programming by a dealer or locksmith is required before installation.

This module checks the chip in your key and clears the powertrain controller to let the engine run. If it stops trusting the key, you'll get a crank with no start and the theft or security light staying on. Used OEM module. Part numbers: P04686665, interchange 4686665AD. Fits 1999–2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee; 2001–2003 Chrysler Town & Country and Voyager, Dodge Caravan and Grand Caravan. This unit requires programming to your vehicle after installation.
