Chrysler's Century Key Emobilizer Module or SKIM is infamous for locking you out. Symptom 1, the engine starts. The engine runs for exactly two seconds, then dies. Symptom 2, a flashing round security light or a crossed out key symbol illuminated on your dashboard. Symptom 3, a crank no start, accompanied by fault code P06, 3, 3, meaning skim key not detected.
