Adding a factory trailer brake controller to your Ford F-150 and why they're not plug and play. Your F-150 has a blank coin holder on the dash. When a tested OEM used unit, it hooks up to the exact same harness and works just as well. Also 2009 to 2010 F-150s require AL34 prefix while 2011 to 2012 require the BL34 prefix.
