This OEM Immobilizer Pass Key 3+ module fits 2003–2007 Cadillac CTS, located at the ignition switch. Also fits 2004–2006 Cadillac SRX. Part number 25752491 (interchange: 25759726, 10384710, 25748932). The module is OEM tested and will require VIN programming by a dealer or locksmith before installation.

Before it authorizes anything, this module has to confirm your key's chip is legitimate — that's its whole job, sitting between the key and permission to run the engine. When it won't give that go-ahead, you'll notice the engine cranking without starting and the theft or security lamp staying on. Used OEM module.
