Programming is required before installation — this module must be programmed to the receiving vehicle. This is an OEM 4x2 GEM (Generic Electronic Module) — front, driver-side, lower position — fitting 1999–2003 Ford F-150, Ford F-150 Heritage, and Ford F-250. The GEM controls body electrical functions such as power windows, wipers, and interior lighting; note that programming to the receiving vehicle is required prior to use.

The GEM module handles power distribution and body functions on your F-150—windows, locks, wipers, and more. This one's been tested functional and cleaned. Ford's GEM modules from this generation are solid, but if yours has failed, you'll notice dead circuits or erratic behavior across multiple systems at once.
