Common questions

What kinds of OEM Jeep parts does Hubes Hub carry?

Hubes Hub stocks a broad range of Jeep OEM parts — primarily interior electronic components, control modules, and harder-to-find items where new replacements are unavailable or expensive. Common categories for Jeep include:

  • TIPMs (Totally Integrated Power Modules) and fuse boxes
  • SKIM/SKREEM immobilizer modules
  • ABS modules and brake control units
  • Body control modules and instrument clusters
  • Audio components (factory radios, Uconnect units, amplifiers)
  • Interior switches, control knobs, and bezels
  • Clock springs, shift levers, and steering column components

Coverage varies by inventory turn — the live listing on the Jeep Parts collection shows what's in stock right now. If you don't see what you need, send Hubes your VIN and what you're after.

Do you carry parts for all Jeep models?

Hubes Hub stocks Jeep parts across the Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Compass, Patriot, Liberty, Commander, and Renegade lines. Older models (Jeep XJ, ZJ, WJ Cherokees and Grand Cherokees) are also represented when they come through donor vehicles.

Specific model coverage varies. The most reliable check is the live collection listing plus a VIN-based fitment check.

If your Jeep isn't in the current listing, send Hubes your VIN and what you need. Older Jeep platforms can be harder to source new parts for; we source from documented vehicles regularly.

Why use OEM Jeep parts instead of aftermarket?

The Jeep aftermarket landscape is broader than most makes — many Jeep owners build, modify, and customize extensively. For aesthetic and off-road performance categories, aftermarket is often the preferred choice.

For factory electronic components, control modules, immobilizers, audio systems, and BCMs — the categories Hubes Hub stocks — OEM is generally the safer path because these parts are calibrated to the vehicle's electronic architecture. Aftermarket alternatives can introduce communication issues with other modules, default to generic calibrations, or trade factory functionality for simplicity.

A few Jeep-specific cases where OEM specifically matters:

  • TIPMs. Jeep Grand Cherokees, Wranglers, and other platforms had documented TIPM reliability issues in certain years. OEM bench-tested replacements with the right part number address the problem cleanly.
  • Uconnect and factory audio. Modern Jeep audio components are VIN-locked and require programming. Aftermarket head units lose factory steering wheel control integration.
  • SKIM immobilizers. Anti-theft systems are tightly integrated with the PCM and keys; OEM is the safest replacement path.

How do I find the right Jeep part for my year and trim?

Three options, in order of confidence:

  1. Use the fitment checker on any product page. Enter your year, make, model, and trim. If we have your vehicle in our compatibility data, you'll see "Fits Your Vehicle" in green.
  2. Compare the part number. If your old part has a number stamped or labeled, compare it to the OEM Part Number on the listing.
  3. Send your VIN. Jeep platforms often share components with Dodge and Chrysler siblings under Stellantis, but model-year and option-package variants matter — Wrangler in particular has frequent revisions across model years.

Are Jeep, Dodge, and Chrysler parts often interchangeable?

Sometimes, within the same platform family, but the part number is the deciding factor — not the brand. Jeep shares platforms with Dodge and Chrysler under what's now Stellantis (formerly FCA, formerly Chrysler Corporation). A TIPM, SKIM, or ABS module that fits one brand might also fit a sibling vehicle of the same year and platform.

But always verify by part number or VIN before assuming cross-brand interchange. The specific part number on the listing is what determines fit.
