Terms of Service

Terms of service.

The terms for buying from and using Hubes Hub — in plain language.

Effective date:May 9, 2026 · Last updated:May 9, 2026

These are the terms for buying from Hubes Hub. The short version: orders are accepted when we ship, returns and warranty work as described on those pages, and disputes are resolved under Michigan law. Specifics below.

These terms

These terms apply when you use the Hubes Hub website or place an order. By using the site, you’re agreeing to them. If you have questions about anything specific, message Hubes and we’ll talk through it.

These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, Returns & Warranty policy, and Shipping & Delivery policy. Together, they cover how the storefront operates.

Who we are

These terms are between you and HubesHub LLC, the company behind Hubes Hub. We sell used OEM parts — body control modules, ABS modules, TIPMs, instrument clusters, and similar — primarily to vehicle owners, repair shops, and DIYers in the US.

Our address is 848 Aspen Ct., Rochester MI 48307. When these terms say “we,” “us,” or “our,” they mean HubesHub LLC

Eligibility

To place an order on Hubes Hub, you need to be old enough to enter into a contract under the law where you live. [Specific minimum-age threshold — pending Chris confirm: standard 18+ purchase clause to be verified against actual policy.]

Browsing the site is open to anyone — but if you’re underage where you live, you’ll need a parent or guardian to handle the actual purchase.

Accounts

You don’t need an account to buy from Hubes Hub — guest checkout is the default. If you create an account, it saves your shipping addresses and order history for next time.

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If something happens with your account that wasn’t you (someone gets your password, an unauthorized order is placed), message Hubes and we’ll work it out.

If we have reason to believe an account is being misused — suspicious activity, fraud, repeated abuse — we may suspend or close it. If you think your account was suspended in error, message Hubes; we’ll look into it.

For how account data is handled, see the Privacy Policy.

Orders, pricing, and availability

When you place an order on Hubes Hub, you’re making an offer to buy. We accept that offer when we ship the part — that’s the moment the contract forms. Until then, we may need to cancel an order if:

  • The price was wrong (a typo, a system error, a misconfigured listing).
  • We can’t verify payment or shipping information.
  • The vehicle information you provided suggests the part won’t actually fit, and we want to message you before shipping.
  • We suspect fraud or abuse.

If we cancel an order, you’re refunded in full to the original payment method. If something looks off — wrong fitment, suspicious order pattern — we’d rather pause and message you than ship a part that’s going to come back as a return.

Pricing. All prices are shown in US dollars. Sales tax is calculated at checkout where required. Prices and availability can change without notice; what’s locked in is the price displayed at the moment you placed your order (subject to the cancellation reasons above).

Shipping costs and timing. See Shipping & Delivery.

Acceptable use

You can use the Hubes Hub site for what it’s for: browsing, learning about parts, placing orders, and contacting us. There are a few things we ask you not to do:

  • Don’t scrape or copy the site — pricing, fitment data, product photos, or copy — for use on another storefront or aggregator.
  • Don’t try to break things — exploiting bugs, probing for vulnerabilities, or interfering with how the site runs for other people.
  • Don’t commit fraud — using stolen payment methods, false identity, or chargebacks-as-policy abuse.
  • Don’t use the site for anything illegal — applies broadly, exactly what it sounds like.

If something in this list looks aimed at you specifically, it isn’t — these are the standard problems any storefront has to name.

Intellectual property

The Hubes Hub site, including product photos, descriptions, design, code, and the Hubes Hub name and logo, is owned by HubesHub LLC or used with permission. You’re welcome to look, learn, and share links to specific pages. You don’t have permission to republish the content, use our photos commercially, or use the Hubes Hub name or logo for your own listings.

If you submit content to us — reviews, photos in support emails, fitment notes, or other material — you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for operating the storefront and supporting customers (showing reviews on a product page, sharing a fitment photo with another customer asking the same question, etc.). You keep ownership of what you submit.

OEM part manufacturer names and trademarks (Ford, Dodge, Chrysler, GM, etc.) belong to their respective owners. We use them to describe what fits what — not to claim affiliation.

Product information

Hubes Hub sells used and refurbished OEM parts. A few things to know about how product information works:

  • Condition descriptions are best-effort based on inspection and testing. Cosmetic variation, light wear, and trace evidence of prior installation are normal and expected for used parts. We try to flag anything beyond normal wear in the listing or photos.
  • Fitment data is best-effort. We work from the same OEM cross-references and data sources the rest of the industry uses, but those sources have gaps and occasional errors. If you have specific information about your vehicle that the fitment checker doesn’t capture (rare option codes, mid-year build changes, regional variants), message Hubes before ordering.
  • Photos are representative. For most listings, the part you receive will be visually similar to the photos but may have different markings, mold dates, or cosmetic variation depending on production batch.

If a part doesn’t fit or doesn’t work as described, that’s covered by Returns & Warranty.

Returns, shipping, and warranty

Our policies on returns, exchanges, warranty work, and shipping live on dedicated pages:

  • Returns & Warranty — return windows, eligibility, the warranty period for parts, and how to start a return.
  • Shipping & Delivery — handling time, carriers, transit estimates, and what to do if a package goes wrong.
  • Frequently Asked Questions — covers the questions we get most often, including fitment, warranty, and order tracking.

These policies are part of these terms. If anything in those pages conflicts with these terms, the more specific policy wins for the topic it covers.

What we’re responsible for, and what we’re not

What we’re responsible for. If a part you ordered doesn’t show up, doesn’t match the listing, doesn’t fit your verified vehicle when our fitment data said it would, or fails within the warranty window described in Returns & Warranty, we make it right. That means a refund, a replacement, or a credit, as described in those policies.

What we’re not responsible for. Used OEM parts are sold for installation by qualified individuals. We’re not responsible for:

  • Installation errors. If a part is installed incorrectly and damaged in the process, that’s not a warranty case. (See Returns for the specifics.)
  • Consequential or indirect damages beyond the part itself — for example, costs of diagnostic time, towing, lost work, or downstream vehicle damage from misinstallation. Our liability for any single claim is capped at the amount you paid us for the part the claim is about.
  • When you order through eBay, that platform’s terms also apply to that transaction. When you use Shopify Pay or another payment service, those services’ terms also apply to that transaction.
  • Misuse or off-label use — using a part for something it wasn’t designed for, modifying it, or installing it in a vehicle different from the one we verified fitment against.
  • Outcomes outside our control — carrier delays, weather, force-majeure events. We help where we can; see Shipping for what we do when carriers go wrong.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow the limitations described above. To the extent your jurisdiction provides rights that can’t be limited by contract, those rights apply and the limitations above are reduced to what the law allows.

Indemnification

If a third party brings a claim against us because of how you used the site or something you did with a part you bought from us — for example, you misused the part in a way that damaged someone else’s property, or you scraped our content and someone sued us about it — you agree to cover the reasonable costs of defending and resolving that claim.

This doesn’t apply to claims that arise from us doing something wrong (selling you a defective part that hurt someone, mishandling your data in violation of the Privacy Policy). Those are on us, subject to §10.

Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, Oakland County.

If a dispute arises and we can’t resolve it by talking it through (which is almost always the better path — message Hubes), the dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan, and you and we agree those courts have personal jurisdiction.

We are not asking you to waive class-action rights, and we are not requiring arbitration. If we ever change that, this section gets a clear update with notice.

Termination

You can stop using Hubes Hub anytime. There’s nothing to cancel — guest orders complete on their own; if you have an account, you can delete it by messaging Hubes.

We can suspend or close your account, or restrict access to the site, if you violate these terms. Where reasonable, we’ll let you know what happened and give you a chance to respond.

Some parts of these terms still apply after you stop using the site — specifically, the license for content you’ve submitted, the responsibility allocations for things that already happened, and the governing law for any dispute.

Changes to these terms

We update these terms when our practices change or when the law requires it. The effective date and last-updated date at the top of this page reflect the most recent version.

For minor edits (clearer wording, fixed typos), we update the date and post the new version. For material changes — new restrictions, new dispute-resolution mechanism, new liability allocation — we’ll post the change at least 30 days before it takes effect, and where we have your email, we’ll let you know directly.

If you keep using the site after a material change takes effect, that’s your acceptance of the new terms. If you don’t agree, stop using the site, or message Hubes.

How to contact us

Miscellaneous

The legal-required boilerplate, kept short:

  • Entire agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy, the Returns & Warranty policy, the Shipping & Delivery policy, and any other policies referenced on this site together form the entire agreement between you and HubesHub LLC about your use of the site and the parts we sell. They replace any previous agreements on these topics.
  • Severability. If a court decides a part of these terms isn’t enforceable, the rest still applies.
  • No waiver. If we don’t enforce a right under these terms in one situation, that doesn’t mean we’ve given up the right — we can still enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You can’t transfer your rights or obligations under these terms to someone else without our written agreement. We can transfer ours — for example, if HubesHub LLC is acquired or restructured, the new entity inherits these terms.
  • Headings. Section headings are for convenience; they don’t change the meaning of the terms.
